UEFA licensed training for elite and development players aged 16-24

Our experienced coaches create an individual pathway for each player to the standard of a professional football club.

BTEC, GCSE, A Level and Degree choices from partner colleges and universities, or work placements, combined with 15 hours weekly football training

Pathway2Pro has partnered with local colleges, universities and employers to provide further education or experience in the workplace structured to fit around our professional level football training programme.

Industrial apprenticeships combined with football training

We match players to employment or apprenticeship opportunities should they decide not to continue in further education.

Coaching qualifications

All first year students are expected to take the FA Level 1 in Coaching Football qualification.

1-3 year programmes

Pathway2Pro programmes that are linked to Further Education courses last between 1 and 3 years.

Fixtures against professional clubs academy teams, attended by scouts

Pathway2Pro plays regular fixtures against academy teams from professional clubs and participates in tournaments all over the UK, giving our players the chance to showcase their talent in front of scouts and staff from pro clubs.

Introductions to professional clubs throughout the world

Pathway2Pro creates a player passport for each player which we share with our extensive network of professional clubs throughout the world.

Assistance with sports scholarships to US universities

Pathway2Pro is experienced in guiding male and female players through the process of applying for sports scholarships to US universities, and has an extensive contact list of university coaches in the USA.

All Pathway2Pro staff have either played at professional level or have been specialists in their respective fields at a professional level.

Neil Ross

Academy Director
Neil is a UEFA B Qualified Coach and former player for Leeds Utd, Bristol Rovers, Stockport and Halifax Town. He is an experienced coach, having worked with players in the UK and Middle East and has developed a specific plan for aspiring professional players

Martin Pemberton

Nutrition and Welfare
Martin is also a former professional player, having played for Doncaster, Mansfield and Stockport. Martin specialises in both mental development and educating players on the nutritional requirements for maximising performance potential.

Mathew Jerome

Mathew is a highly experienced sports therapist who worked with several clubs in the North West of England before setting up his own practice. Matthew specialises in strength and conditioning and injury prevention as well as providing a comprehensive rehabilitation programme for injured players.
